Handcrafted in the Grampians, made from 100% cotton which is washed, hand cut and hand coated in a pre-blend of naturally anti-bacterial ingredients: our very own Rosehaven Beeswax, Jojoba Oil, and Natural Pine Tree Resin. They create a self adhesive seal covering that is waterproof yet breathable keeping your food fresher for longer without costing the earth!
Our beeswax wraps are perfect for wrapping bread, sandwiches, cheese; covering leftovers; carrying on-the-go snacks or preserving the freshness of fruits and vegetables.
Simply use the heat of your hands to mould your wraps over, under or around what ever you would like to cover.
Beeswax wraps are not ideal for wrapping some types of foods directly such as wet fruits (eg. watermelon). However, these foods can be placed in a bowl and covered with beeswax wraps, which grip nicely and help preserve freshness.
Beeswax wraps are not suitable for Raw meat
To wash wraps between uses, hand wash like you would a plate or bowl except use lukewarm water instead. Avoid using hot water as this may wash the wax out of the wraps. Hang to Air Dry and your done!
If cared for properly, Rosehaven beeswax wraps can last up to one year (depending on usage) and can then be washed and rewaxed with our Hexagon Refresher Block for use again.
